COMING ATTRACTIONS

Coming Soon: The Reset

The Reset.

That’s what they called it, although even that really wasn’t quite right. The word conjures the image of a new start—of a fresh beginning. But when the explosions rippled through America—well, they ended the world as humanity had come to know it.

And to be honest, that really wasn’t such a terrible thing.

For most, life had become a violent struggle. The Human Accord had seen to that, with its suffocating financial policies and vicious social warfare. The Earth simply slouched toward the precipice, and there didn’t seem any way to level the playing field.

We know how this story ends, right?

Almost. The destruction came from children—from the hearts of orphans. There were nineteen biologically engineered children, modified from birth to carry the weapons that delivered humanity to the brink of extinction.

Only two of them never detonated.

Benjamin Stone survived the Reset. He spends his days on the move, staying a step ahead of the ash storms and scavengers, searching for the girl with the secret buried deep in her chest.

He understands her burden all too well, and he’s got the scars to prove it.

The Reset explores the nature of love and the power of hope in the aftermath of tragedy.

With thematic elements similar to Stephen King’s The Stand and Cormac McCarthy’s The Road, it’s a post-apocalyptic story about the survivors of terrorism and the human impulse to rebuild.
