ABOUT ME
Daniel was born in Utah and spent most of his life in Colorado and Oregon before moving to Florida in 2005. He teaches a variety of writing courses at Florida State College at Jacksonville, and he is pursuing a doctoral degree at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
His short stories and critical essays have been published in a variety of magazines, anthologies, and journals. He primarily writes in the genres of fantasy, science fiction, and horror, and his research interests include digital publication methods, rhetorical studies, and contemporary horror literature.
He enjoys playing golf, cooking, and fishing. An avid outdoorsman and sports fan, Daniel has an affinity for the Oregon Ducks, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Baltimore Orioles.
He lives near the Intracoastal Waterway with his wife, Jeanne, and his daughter, Lyla.
